Welcome to The Mom Survival Guide!

I am so incredibly happy that you found The Mom Survival Guide!  A blog geared toward helping moms find happiness in their everyday life through parenting tips, organization, home management, self-care and more!

As a mom, you deal with sick kids, disorganization, and messes every day.  It can be super hard and stressful.  I have learned so much over my 13 years being at home and I want to share it all with you so you don’t have to take the time to learn it all yourself.

A Little About Me

About 13 years ago I gave birth to my first bundle of joy.

After much deliberation about finances, my husband and I made the decision that I would go from Biologist to Stay At Home Mom.

Now I have two active children who are both in school all day.

Over the years that I have been home, I have found that writing and helping others is a passion of mine.

I decided to start this blog to do just that.  Help other moms stay happy at home.

What I’ve Learned

Over the last 13 years, I have learned the hard way that the world does not stop just because you do.  With two kids and back problems, things could get pretty crazy and stressful in my life.

I had to learn to organize my home and myself so I could be effective even on bad pain days. I learned how to create a routine for myself and my family.

What Can I Offer You?

I want to help you find ways to manage your home by creating good routines, decluttering, and getting organized.

And I want you to take care of yourself by finding hobbies, finding other stay at home mom friends to talk to, and sleeping well.

Once you get organized and start taking care of your day to day life as well as yourself, that is when the happiness will start to seep in!

Because there is a fun side of momming too!  Cooking fun things like cookies, playing with your kids, having crazy dance parties, having tickle fights, laughing so hard you can hardly breathe…  these are the reasons we become stay at home moms.

And believe it or not, being organized and self care are two of the best ways to find the fun and happy side of being a mom.

If you are interested in hiring me as a Mom Coach for your organizational needs, self care advice, or parenting questions, you can email me and we can discuss your needs.

I hope to see you around my blog!

With Love!
